Portable 7kW EV Charger

This EV charger is compatible with 10 A, 15 A and 32 A plugs, allowing charging outputs of 2.4 kW, 3.6 kW or up to 7 kW. The 10 A and 15 A plugs are supplied with the EVC7KW model, while the 7 kW plug is available separately under part number EVC7KW-HP. An IP65-rated waterproof design provides protection against water ingress, supporting reliable operation in a range of environments.

Operation is quick and straightforward, with the charger automatically detecting the connection status and completing the required handshake protocol once the plug is connected to the vehicle’s inlet. The enclosure is manufactured from high-strength ABS plastic to support durability. Charging status and fault conditions can be identified via on-screen alarms.

The charger incorporates multiple protection features, including over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, leakage current and short-circuit protection. A self-test function operates when connected to the supply or when the vehicle requests charging. Once charging has commenced, the current setting cannot be changed, helping prevent interference during operation.
