Clearview Accessories and TJM have joined forces to create a co-branded 2026 Toyota HiLux N90 SR that is equal parts touring rig, national showcase and rolling product-development platform.

Travelling across Australia, the Clearview x TJM N90 HiLux build gives customers a first-hand look at Clearview and TJM equipment working together as one complete build. Behind the scenes, Clearview has also used the HiLux to test and refine products for the new N90 platform - including its towing mirrors and Power Boards - under genuine, real-world conditions.

A partnership built for the real world

Clearview has brought its touring expertise to every part of the vehicle.

Its N90 towing mirrors deliver the visibility needed for towing, while the rear canopy incorporates a personalised Power Slide and Easy Slide finished in unmistakable TJM Gold. A Clearview Fridge Cage, Cable Saver and Tyre Spider add the practical details that make life on the road easier.

TJM has equipped the HiLux for the rough stuff.

An Outback Bull Bar provides frontal protection, while TJM driving lights extend visibility after dark. A Pro Series Twin Air Compressor and 5-litre air tank make tyre-pressure management easier, and an XGS suspension package helps the vehicle remain controlled and composed once the canopy, accessories and touring gear are loaded aboard.

It is an impressive collection of 4WD equipment.

But when a build is this capable, what keeps everything running once the engine is switched off?

That is where Projecta takes over.

A modern touring vehicle depends on reliable power. The fridge needs to stay cold. Devices and camera batteries need charging. Lighting, accessories and 240-volt appliances need to work whether the vehicle is moving, parked at camp or miles from the nearest power point.

Inside the HiLux canopy is an integrated Projecta setup designed to store, replenish, convert and monitor that power.

The heart: LB200-HD lithium battery

At the centre of the system is the Projecta LB200-HD 200Ah High Discharge Lithium Battery.

With 200Ah of storage, 2560Wh of nominal energy and a maximum continuous discharge current of 200A, the LB200-HD provides the capacity and high-current performance required by a serious touring setup. Built-in mounting feet, isolation switching and communication ports also make it well suited to permanent canopy installations.

The charge: IDC50X 50A DC-DC charger

A big battery is only useful when there is an effective way to recharge it.

While the HiLux is moving, the Projecta IDC50X 50A DC-DC Charger draws power from the vehicle and delivers a controlled charge to the auxiliary battery. It can accept alternator and solar input simultaneously, while its integrated MPPT technology helps maximise available solar charging performance.

The IDC50X is also sealed to IP68 and IP69K, giving it protection against dust, water, submersion and high-pressure washing - exactly what is needed in equipment built for life beyond the highway.

The off-grid input: SPM200-MC4 solar panel

When the vehicle is parked and the engine is off, the Projecta SPM200-MC4 200W Monocrystalline Solar Panel helps keep energy flowing into the system.

Designed for permanent installation, the panel connects to the charging system through secure MC4 connectors. That means the auxiliary battery can continue receiving charge while the HiLux is sitting at camp - helping support the fridge, lighting and other everyday touring loads without relying solely on drive time.

The output: PW2100 Pro-Wave inverter

Stored 12-volt energy becomes much more versatile with the Projecta PW2100 2100W Pro-Wave Pure Sine Wave Inverter.

The PW2100 produces clean 240-volt pure sine wave power suitable for sensitive electronics as well as demanding appliances. With 2100W of continuous output and up to 4200W of start-up capacity, it gives the HiLux the ability to run equipment ranging from laptops and camera chargers to kettles, tools and that all-important coffee machine.

The control: Projecta Intelli-IQ

Bringing the system together is Projecta Intelli-IQ.

The compact two-inch Smart Display provides real-time visibility of key system information, including alternator input, solar input and output current. Bluetooth connectivity also allows the system to be monitored and configured from a compatible smart device.

Rather than hiding the electrical system behind the canopy walls, Intelli-IQ puts the information that matters right where it can be seen - making it easier to understand available power, charging performance and system activity at a glance.

One complete power system

This is the difference between adding a collection of electrical products and engineering a complete power solution.
